At the MPHS the courses taught are almost the ones taught as a trend in the state and for the higher standards the courses prescribed by the JKBOSE are in effect for the time being. Besides, Islamic courses are essentially introduced in this institution.
The medium of instruction in MPHS is English though Urdu is compulsory.
Co and extra curriculum activities are also in effect though at a very low pace for the time being but in due course of time while the economic conditions of the institution pave way for. At present the students are taken for sightseeing within and outside the district as per the convenience of the management. Sports and hobbies are also enjoyable in the
MPHS and in different sport events the students have brought laurels to the institution and they are encouraged by the District Youth and Sports department Kargil. Among other activities, options for debates, discussions, symposiums, colloquiums, seminars and quiz programs besides skill development programs like stage shows, paintings, trekking, mountaineering, adventure tours and expeditions are also on table.
